A family story

Château Bas d'Aumelas is a 14th-century building located 20 minutes away from Montpellier. It has been in the d'Albenas family for 200 years, and has been passed down from generation to generation. In 2002, Jean-Philippe and Geoffroy d'Albenas brought back the liveliness that had once been lost. They replanted the vines that had been uprooted, and gradually restored the castle to its former glory. Today, Château Bas d'Aumelas produces organically-farmed wines from an exceptional high-altitude terroir, and offers a timeless place for receptions.
